SCOUTING WILLIAM PATERSON
The Pioneers are 4-3 on the season but 1-2 within the NJAC. They have alternated wins and losses over the last five games, including NJAC setbacks to Kean and Rowan.
 
SERIES HISTORY
Montclair State is 106-77 against William Paterson, including two straight wins last February. William Paterson notched an 84-74 win in the first meeting, snapping a four-game losing skid. The Red Hawks recorded 22 consecutive wins from 1961-1971 for their longest stretch of victories.
 
LAST MEETING
The Red Hawks picked up a 71-66 victory in the NJAC Quarterfinals on February 22, 2022. Montclair State led by 12 midway through the second half before WPU brought it down to two. KIERAN FLANAGAN hit a clutch three-pointer on the next possession before Flanagan, DEVIN COOPER, and IRVING CALLENDER IV knocked down free throws down the stretch to seal the win.
