Softball: Game Day Preview vs. Salem and Anna Maria

Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State softball team faces off against Salem College and Anna Maria College Tuesday.

GAME INFO
The first pitch in Myrtle Beach, SC, against Salem is scheduled for 11:30 am, while the Red Hawks and Anna Maria will face off at 1:30 pm.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (1-1) split on day one of their spring trip to South Carolina. They fell 15-10 to Gettysburg before rebounding with a 7-0 triumph over Gwynedd Mercy. ALI CAVALLARO tossed the 42nd no-hitter in program history as she fanned 12 in the complete-game win over the Griffins. In the setback to Gettysburg, ALYSSA BOROZAN went 3-for-5 with five RBI, falling a home run shy of the cycle.

The Spirits are 0-8 on the season and have seen just two of their games go the full seven innings. SCOUTING ANNA MARIA
The Amcats enter with an 0-3 mark, with a result against Penn State-Abington yet to be announced. In the three games, they have scored just one run.
