SCOUTING THE PIONEERS
The Pioneers are 12-13 on the year, including a 3-7 mark in the NJAC. They dropped a pair of games to TCNJ Saturday after sweeping NJCU on Tuesday. Away from Wayne, the Pioneers are 3-3 on the season, sweeping NJCU and splitting with St. Joseph's-Long Island.

SERIES HISTORY
The Red Hawks are 70-47 all-time against William Paterson and are riding a three-game winning streak against their Route 46 rivals. Montclair State snapped an eight-game losing streak with a doubleheader sweep of William Paterson in 2019 and has notched a victory in five of the last six games.
 
LAST MEETING
The Red Hawks swept an NJAC doubleheader on April 27 last season, winning 5-3 and 7-3. JENNA MELUSO had two RBI in the opener, while ANNALESA DILAURENZIO went 2-for-2 at the plate. AMBER REED collected three hits in game two, while KAYLA GALLO, ALYSSA BOROZAN, and DANIELLE SIBILIO notched two hits apiece.
