On Saturday, the Red Hawks (20-15, 4-10 NJAC) split a doubleheader with nationally-ranked TCNJ, falling 6-2 and winning 3-2 in the nightcap. In game one, ALYSSA BOROZAN had both RBI, while ALI CAVALLARO notched the win in game two. DANIELLE SIBILIO and AMBER REED hit solo home runs as STEPHANIE SERETIS earned her first career save in the second game.

SCOUTING THE GOTHIC KNIGHTS
NJCU is 9-22 overall and 1-13 in the NJAC this season, as their win over Rutgers-Camden was their first NJAC victory since 2017.

SERIES HISTORY
The Red Hawks are 44-2 all-time against the Gothic Knights, dropping single games in 2001 and 2009. Montclair State is 17-1 away from the MSU Softball Stadium and has won 22 straight games since the setback in 2008.
 
LAST MEETING
The Red Hawks notched 9-1 and 8-0 victories in their last game against NJCU on April 20, 2021. KAYLA GALLO had four RBI, and KAYLA COSENTINO tallied three hits in the opener, while Cosentino and JENNA MELUSO notched two hits in game two.
