Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State women's soccer team hosts Vassar College Wednesday evening.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (3-0-0) came from behind to top Endicott College Sunday afternoon. After surrendering the opening goal in the 58th minute, the Red Hawks scored in the final 19:15 to take the win. EMILY SCHULER leveled the game in the 71st minute, flicking in a rebound with a back-heel shot off a KYLINN KRAEMER shot. Montclair State went in front 2-1 in the 79th minute, as KYLIE PRENDERGAST one-touched an AILEEN CAHILL through ball for the game-winning tally.

SCOUTING VASSAR
The Brewers enter the contest with a 0-1-1 mark after the opening week. They fell to Mount Saint Vincent 2-1 in their season Thursday before battling NYU to a scoreless draw Sunday afternoon.

SERIES HISTORY
The Red Hawks are 9-4-2 all-time against Vassar, including a seven-game winning streak from September 17, 1997 – September 21, 2016. Vassar notched three consecutive victories from October 1, 1994 – October 5, 1996.

LAST MEETING
Montclair State fell 2-1 to Vassar on September 8, 2021. After a scoreless 72:10, the two sides combined for three goals over the final 17:50. Vassar broke through with a goal in the 73rd minute before ZOE STECK headed in an EMMI DENOVELLIS corner kick to tie the game at one in the 75th. Vassar found the game-winning marker in the 84th minute to claim the one-goal victory.
