Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State men's lacrosse team hosts Vassar College in the season-opener Wednesday night.
GAME INFO

TICKET INFO
Tickets are $6 adults and $3 for visiting students/children/senior citizens. Season tickets are also available at the first two home games for $20 for adults and $10 for children/senior citizens/non-MSU students.
LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (12-4) clipped Kean 12-11 in the CSAC Semifinals Tuesday evening.
TYLER MCCREERY collected nine points (three goals and six assists) and became single-season leader in points.
CHRISTIAN BOYLE tallied four goals including the game-winner with just over three minutes left.

2022 SEASON IN REVIEW
Montclair State earned the No. 2 seed in the CSAC Tournament last year and advanced to the CSAC Championship Game where they were topped by Stockton. The Red Hawks saw
WILSON SMITH earn All-American honors as he was also named the CSAC Defensive Player of the Year.

SCOUTING THE BREWERS
The Brewers went 7-7 last season, including a 2-5 record in the Liberty League. Logan Hyde was tabbed as a USILA Scholar All-American and was chosen to play in the North/South All-Star Game.
SERIES HISTORY
The Red Hawks are 7-1 all-time against Vassar and had their seven-game winning streak snapped last season. The two sides have met every season since 2013 minus 2017 and 2021.
LAST MEETING
Vassar notched a 15-12 victory in Poughkeepsie, NY last spring. Montclair fell behind 10-4 before cutting the deficit to two thanks to four consecutive tallies. After tying the game at 11 with 7:07 to go, Vassar finished the game with four of the final five markers.
