Chester, Pa. – The Montclair State outdoor track and field teams posted strong marks during the second day of the Danny Curran Invitational.
MEN'S RECAP
- Senior ANTHONY DIMAULO led a trio of Red Hawks in the top-six in the long jump. DiMaulo placed second with a distance of 7.04m as KEYSHAWN DIXON was fifth (6.77m) and ALEX DIMAULO sixth (6.59m).
- After notching a pair of top-five throws yesterday, John Griffth was 11th in the hammer with 43.3m. HIROKI TSUTSUMI was 13th with a throw of 40.6m. OWEN FOGARTY took fourth in the pole vault, hitting 4.40m.
- SAMAEL MILEVOIX and JORDAN DICKERSON tallied top-12 times in the 400m. Milevoix was fifth in 49.85 with Dickerson clocking in at 51.11 which was good for 12th.
- BRANDON BALCACER took 11th in 100 as he crossed the finish line in 11.31 with Milevoix placing 17th in the 200 (22.64).
WOMEN'S RECAP
- Newcomer MICHELLE ITOUA led the Red Hawks with a 12th time of 13.17 in the 100 as SIDNEY WHETSTONE was 25th in 13.51. Itoua took 15th in the 200 as she crossed the finish line in 26.95.
- JEALYNE RAMOS tallied a 15th place mark of 1:01.74 in the 400, with ANGIE GONZALEZ leading five Red Hawks in the 800 (2:47.84). JULIE MURPHY took 39th in the 1,500m with a time of 5:44.88.
- Whetstone placed fifth in the long jump (5.12m) as MIA PEGUERO hit a PR with a ninth-place jump of 4.9m.
