Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State men's lacrosse team hosts the University of Mary Washington in the Quarterfinals of the Coastal Lacrosse Conference Tournament Tuesday.
 
GAME INFO
The first faceoff at Sprague Field is scheduled for 4 pm, with live stats and video available on montclairathletics.com. Video can also be found on the Red Hawk Sports Network YouTube Channel.
  
TICKET PRICE
Tickets are $5 for adults/senior citizens/non-Montclair State students. All Montclair State students will be admitted free with a valid ID. PLEASE NOTE: Season Tickets are not valid for postseason events.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (9-7) knocked off Kean 12-8 in Wednesday's regular-season finale. RYAN VIERBUCHEN had a career-high six goals and added three assists, with TYLER MCCREERY pumping in a goal and six assists. DAVID METZGER made 12 saves, and BRANDON SHEVINS made five.

SCOUTING THE EAGLES
Mary Washington is 7-10 on the season and snapped a five-game losing skid with a 17-14 triumph over Kean in a rescheduled game. That was their lone conference win of the season, with Montclair and Mary Washington knocking off Kean.
 
SERIES HISTORY
Montclair is 1-1 against Mary Washington, dropping an 8-4 decision on March 10, 2003, and winning 15-13 on April 1, 2023.
 
LAST MEETING
The Red Hawks picked up a 15-13 triumph over the Eagles on April 1, 2023. The score was tied 7-7 at the half before Montclair outscored UMW 5-2 in the third. Montclair led 15-9 with 10:24 left before the Eagles reeled off four straight markers. The Red Hawks defense hunkered down as DAVID METZGER made four stops late to preserve the victory.
