CAMRYN MUUSS was added on to her mountain of inaugural season accolades as she captured AVCA Honorable Mention All-American honors as announced by the American Volleyball Coaches Association on Wednesday afternoon.

Muuss, in her first collegiate season, led the New Jersey Athletic Conference in total kills (343) and kills per set (3.85), with 126 kills and 4.50 kills per set coming in NJAC play which were both top marks in conference. The 2024 NJAC Rookie of the Year and a First Team All-NJAC selection, she also led the NJAC during conference play with 130.5 total points and 4.66 points per set which were the most of any player in the NJAC since 2021. Camryn was also a four-time NJAC Rookie of the Week during the season and NJAC Player of the Week once.

It is the fourth time in program history that a Montclair student-athlete has received All-American honors and Camryn is the third ever student-athlete to become an All-American selection. She adds this on to the AVCA All-Region 4 Rookie of the Year and First Team accolades she received earlier in the month.

The Red Hawks wrapped up their season with an overall record of 21-8 and a 7-1 NJAC record that earned them the number two seed in the NJAC playoffs. They played against third-seeded Stockton in the NJAC Semifinals and fell short, 3-2 on November 14.
