Montclair, NJ- Announced on Tuesday afternoon by the College Sports Communicators (CSC) organization, Montclair State University volleyball saw four of its student-athletes get named to the Academic All-District team for their performances on the court and in the classroom.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Women's Volleyball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.
In order to be eligible for the Academic All-District team, a student-athlete must have played in 90% or started 66% of matches and have a 3.5 or higher cumulative GPA.
Representing the Red Hawks on the team are
BRYN BAUTISTA,
LILY THOMAS,
CAMRYN MUUSS, and
SOFIA DIPROFIO.
Bautista started all 32 matches this season and maintains a perfect 4.0 GPA as a nursing major. A Second Team All-NJAC, she tallied 323 kills (2.91 per set), 337 digs (3.04 per set), 47 service aces, 28 assists, and 19 total blocks. Bautista was the Red Hawks' lone NJAC Player of the Week honoree this fall, earning the award on October 27.
Thomas, an accounting major with a 3.57 cumulative GPA, was a starter in all 32 matches this season for Montclair. She led the team in the blocks with 93 on the year to go along with 146 kills, 19 digs, and four assists.
Muuss notched this honor after starting all 32 matches and holding a 3.90 GPA as a communications and media major. She finished the year producing 374 kills (3.37 per set), 247 digs (2.23 per set), 33 service aces, 39 total blocks, and 27 assists. Her 374 kills ranked third in the NJAC and placed her seventh all-time in single-season kills in program history. She also earned back-to-back All-NJAC First Team accolades this season.
DiProfio maintains a 3.72 GPA as a marketing major and was a starter in 31 matches this season for Montclair. This season, she recorded 148 kills, 38 blocks, 37 digs, and two assists.
Thomas earns this honor for the second time in her career, while Bautista, Muuss, and DiProfio earn it for the first time.
Montclair tied its best record in program history with a 26-6 overall record and a 5-3 NJAC record that saw them qualify for the NJAC Tournament for the 20
th season in a row.
