Baseball Chosen Third In NJAC Preseason Poll

Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State University baseball team was selected third in the New Jersey Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches Poll on Thursday.

Rowan University was chosen first with six first-place votes, and Kean University slid in second with two first-place tallies. Montclair was third with the final two first-place votes, with defending NJAC Champions The College of New Jersey pegged fourth.

William Paterson University gained the fifth spot as Ramapo College was sixth. The "dark horse," Stockton University, was picked seventh, as Rutgers-Camden was chosen behind them in eighth. Rounding out the poll was Rutgers-Newark and New Jersey City University.

The Red Hawks open their 2024 slate on February 20, hosting Maritime College at 3 pm.
