Preview | Softball vs. Loras/Nichols

Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State softball team resumes their Spring Games schedule with two games in Florida on Tuesday.
 
GAME INFO
The Red Hawks will battle Loras at 9 am before taking on Nichols at 11:15 am. Both games will be played in Kissimmee, Florida. Live stats for the Nichols game and video through Flo Sports are available on montclairathletics.com.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (2-2) notched their first victories of the season on Monday, topping Saint Mary's (IN) 8-0 and Farmingdale State 1-0. LIZ MULLEN and KATIE BRUNNER had two RBI as BROOKE BIAMONTE and STEPHANIE SERETIS hurled three shutout innings each against Saint Mary's. MOLLY COLLIGAN had the lone RBI in the nightcap as ALI CAVALLARO fanned three in her complete game.

LAST MEETING
Montclair defeated Loras 11-0 in their last meeting on March 6, 2001. Crystal Sweeney scattered four hits over four innings, while Alexandra Lamont went 3-for-3 with four RBI. Lamont homered and tripled while falling a double shy of the cycle. The Red Hawks defeated Nichols 6-4 on March 17, 2010. Kelly Nance had three RBI, and Jamie Miller notched a win.
