LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks dropped both ends of a doubleheader to TCNJ on Sunday. They fell 4-2 in the opener despite extra-base hits from FAITH COLLIER, MOLLY COLLIGAN, and JULIANA CASILLAS. In the second, TCNJ picked up a 5-0 win as Montclair tallied a pair of hits.

SCOUTING NJCU
The Gothic Knights are 9-14 overall, including a 3-7 mark in the NJAC. They have won three of their last four games, including a sweep of Rutgers-Newark on Saturday.

SERIES HISTORY
The Red Hawks are 48-2 against NJCU and have won 26 consecutive games. The Gothic Knights have never swept a matchup, picking up individual wins in 2001 and 2009. Montclair is 19-1 in Jersey City, with the lone blemish coming in 2009. 

LAST MEETING
Montclair topped NJCU 6-5 and 13-2 on April 25, 2023. AMBER REED had two RBI as ALYSSA BOROZAN, Reed, and LIZ MULLEN in the 6-5 win. ALI CAVALLARO fanned five in 4 1/3 before SAGE RIZZI struck out three in 1 1/3 to earn a save. Reed and JENNA MELUSO had three RBI apiece in game two, as Meluso was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate.
