Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State softball team visits Rowan University in their regular season finale on Saturday.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks notched their first NJAC sweep of the year as they took down William Paterson 4-2 and 8-3 on Tuesday. KAYLA COSENTINO and STEPHANIE SERETIS had two hits in the opener, with KATIE BRUNNER, Seretis, and JULIANA CASILLAS tallying RBI. Brunner and RILEIGH GLYNN had three hits in game two, with Glynn and Seretis recording two RBI each.

SCOUTING ROWAN
The Profs are 29-7 in the year, including 14-2 in the NJAC. They have won five straight games after their 3-2 loss to TCNJ on April 16. Rowan notched 18 consecutive victories from March 12 – April 14.

SERIES HISTORY
The Red Hawks are 58-73 against Rowan and have dropped 10 consecutive games. Their last victory against the Profs came on March 31, 2018, in an 8-2 triumph. The Red Hawks' previous win Glassboro was a 3-2 win on April 2, 2017.

LAST MEETING
Montclair fell 5-4 and 8-2 on April 16, 2023. In game two, Montclair was down 4-2 in the seventh before rallying to force extra innings. JENNA MELUSO tied the game at four with a two-run single before they fell in the eighth. MADISON LEECH and Meluso had an RBI apiece in game two.
