LAST TIME OUT
MSU was defeated on the road at #5 Misericordia, 1-0. The first half advantage belonged to the Cougars as they controlled the ball on offense most the time, generating 12 shots to the Red Hawks six. At the 38:16 timestamp, Misericordia's Alyssa Steenback fired in a shot into the back of the net to give the Cougars a 1-0 lead into the second half. MSU fought hard to put in the equalizer during the second half and out shot Misericordia by a large margin of 11-4, but could not find the back of the net. The best opportunity came when EMMI DENOVELLIS rocketed a shot that hit top woodwork at the 48:38 mark and the Cougars fended off the Red Hawks the rest of the way to take the win.
