SCOUTING RUTGERS-NEWARK
The Scarlet Raiders are entering this matchup with a 7-5-1 overall record and a 1-2 record in the NJAC. In its last match on Wednesday, Newark fell to NYU, 3-2. In 2024, they compiled an 11-8-4 overall record and a 3-2-4 NJAC record that qualified them for the conference tournament. The Scarlet Raiders saw a quick exit, however, as they fell to Rutgers-Camden in the quarterfinals, 1-0. According to the 2025 NJAC Preseason Poll, Newark is projected to finish sixth.
