Lehigh, PA- Montclair State University cross country senior ABIGAIL CHURCHILL set the 6K school record as the Red Hawks competed at the Paul Short Run Invite on Friday morning. The team placed 44^th among the field with a total of 1,253 points.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Churchill's record, which she set last time out at the Osprey Open, came in at 22:42.5. She placed 90^th among the field.
• LILIANA SNYDER and CECILE BERNARD were in the next crop of finishes. Synder ran a 24:55.2 with Bernard behind her at 25:25.2.
• JORDAN BOHRER and MARY PICHETTE placed close to each other, with Bohrer clocking a 26:34.5 and Pichette finishing with a time of 26:40.4.
• The Red Hawks were capped off by the grouping of AMBER SHEA (27:44.3), ALISSA TAYLOR (27:50.0), SOFIA MELO PATERNINA (28:04.9), and CAITLIN WITTERS (28:09.8).

 
INSIDE THE RESULTS

• Chruchill broke her own record that she set just this past meet at the Osprey Open on September 20. There she finished with a time of 22:48.99.
• The Red Hawks saw eight runners break their season best times in the meet today. Churchill, Snyder, Bernard, Pichette, Shea, Taylor, Paternina, and Witters all clocked season-best times.
