Spartansburg, SC – ABIGAIL CHURCHILL participated in the 2025 NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships on Saturday morning for the Montclair State University cross country team.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Churchill notched a time of 24:22.1 in the event to place 257th in the field. She became the first Red Hawk to qualify for the NCAA Championships in the program's modern era.

INSIDE THE RESULTS

• The race capped off a historic senior campaign for Churchill, who set the school record in the 6k four separate times.
• She shaved over a minute off the previous 6k record time coming into the 2025 season, and became the first Red Hawk to notch a sub-22 minute time in the event in program history.
• Churchill placed in the top six in four meets this season, including a fifth-place finish at the New Jersey Athletic Conference Championship and wins in the TCNJ Blue/Gold Season Opener and Herb Lorenz Invitational.
