Craig delivered a key swing from the outside, and Muuss followed with a powerful finish to secure the 25-19 win and a 2-0 match advantage. Craig chipped in two more kills, and Muuss and Cornelius paired for a pair of late blocks to extend the margin into double digits. Cornelius then capped the night with her fourth ace, sealing a 25-14 victory and completing the 3-0 sweep.

SCOUTING HUNTER
The Hawks enter the tri-match with a 4-13 overall record. They are coming off a tri-match that saw them lost to Centenary (NJ), 3-2, but bounced back for a 3-0 win against Alfred. In 2024, Hunter finished 21-9 and was 7-0 in the CUNYAC during the regular season. They swept Baruch in the semifinals, 3-0, but were upset 3-1 in the championship game by John Jay. According to the 2025 CUNYAC Preseason poll, Hunter is projected to finish second again.

SCOUTING STEVENS
The Ducks enter the tri-match with a 7-6 overall record and are coming off a 3-1 win against Lebanon Valley on Tuesday. In 2024, Stevens posted a 28-7 overall record with a 6-1 record in MAC Freedom play. They went into the tournament as the one seed and defeated Lebanon Valley (3-1) and Misericordia (3-2) for its fifth-straight MAC Freedom title in a row. They went to the NCAA Tournament, where they defeated Gallaudet 3-1, before dropping a 3-1 matchup to Washington & Lee. According to the 2025 MAC Freedom Preseason Poll, the Ducks are projected to win their sixth-straight conference title.

Montclair and Hunter enter matchup number 28 of their series, while the Red Hawks and the Ducks meet for the 21
st time since 2003. Montclair has the edge in the series with Hunter, 15-12, but Stevens has the head-to-head at 14-6.
