Montclair, NJ - The Montclair State University men's lacrosse team revealed its 2026 schedule on Wednesday afternoon. The 15-game slate features a second-straight appearance in the Tom Leanos Cup along with four first time opponents.
Montclair will open the campaign with a trip to Baltimore, Maryland on February 14 to face Goucher for the first time in program history. The Red Hawks return to kick off the home slate with a back-to-back against Western Connecticut (February 25) and SUNY Delhi (February 26). After traveling to take on Scranton (March 3), Montclair will defend its title in the Tom Leanos Cup, starting with a semifinal matchup against first time opponent Emerson on March 6. They will then take on either Emmanuel or the hosts Drew on March 8.
The following week, Montclair will host Manhattanville on March 11 before making the trip to take on Widener on March 14. The Red Hawks will host in-state rival Kean on Wednesday, March 18 for a clash under the lights at Sprague Field. After a road game at Penn College (March 21), Montclair will welcome in Maritime on March 28 for Senior Day, and will remain home and kick off the month of April against Marywood four days later. On April 4, the Red Hawks will continue their rivalry with in-state opponent Stockton, and will wrap up their home slate on April 15 with a matchup against Immaculata. Montclair will conclude the regular season on Friday, April 17, with a trip to face Notre Dame of Maryland for the first time.
Montclair posted a 8-8 record during the 2025 season, including seven victories against teams on the 2026 schedule.Â
