Biffot, 4x400 Relay Lead Men's Track & Field at Lions Invite

Ewing, NJ – The Montclair State University men's track and field team completed the two-day Lions Invite on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

HIVEN BIFFOT led the way for Montclair, placing third in the High Jump with a mark of 1.99m. JARROD KOON notched a 15th place finish at 1.84m.
In the Long Jump, KEYSHAWN DIXON placed 13th with a mark of 6.46m, with ELIAS HANLEY notching 18th at 6.29m. Rounding out the field events was BRYAN ALVAREZ, who recorded 12.74m in the Shot Put.
On the track, the 4x400m Relay team of DAMJAN DIMITROVSKI, COURTNEY ROGERS JR., KYESHAUN SYLVESTER, and MILES ALLEN took first with a time of 3:25.57.

INSIDE THE RESULTS

Biffot set a new personal best in the High Jump, ranking 41st in Division III in the event.
Dixon, Hanley, and MYLES DAY all recorded new season bests in the Long Jump.
Dimitrovski tallied a new season best in the 800m, placing 16th with a time of 1:58.59.
