Men's Track & Field Competes at Muhlenberg Invitational

Allentown, PA – The Montclair State University men's track and field team competed at the Muhlenberg Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

MYLES DAY led the Red Hawks with a mark of 5.99m in the Long Jump, placing third in the event. KEYSHAWN DIXON finished sixth at 5.77m to round out the event.
In the Javelin Throw, MOHAMMED ABDALLAH placed sixth with a mark of 48.72m, with GABRIEL DAYON (45.80m) and JACK VERBEL (43.49m) rounding out the top ten in the event.
On the track, JOSEPH BIO notched a time of 1:01.54 in the 400m Hurdles to finish sixth. DAMJAN DIMITROVSKI recorded a personal best mark of 52.51 to place seventh in the 400m.
JARROD KOON finished seventh in the High Jump with a mark of 1.77m.

INSIDE THE RESULTS

In the 100m, DANIEL MCCARTHY (11.55) and ABDUL ABDUL-GANIYU (11.59) tallied personal bests to finish 14th and 16th.
MATTHEW HAILU (11.56m), RANDY WORTHINGTON (11.39m), and XAVIAN PENA (11.10m) all notched new season-best marks in the Shot Put.
DARRYL SAMPSON recorded a new personal best in the Javelin Throw with a mark of 42.06m.

The Red Hawks will compete in the Oscar Moore Track and Field Invite on Saturday, April 12, with the meet time scheduled for 11:00 AM.
