New Orleans, LA — On Wednesday evening, the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced that Montclair State University's
MCKAY ALBY and
JESSICA HOLLER have earned All-Metro Region honors for the 2025 outdoor season.
Alby, a freshman, received the honor in the 100-meter dash, while Holler, a junior, earned her spot in the heptathlon.
Alby's standout performance came at the NJAC Championships on May 3, where she clocked a time of 12.23 seconds in the 100-meter dash. The time not only set a new school record but also earned Montclair its first NJAC title in the event since 2011. Her mark ranked fifth in the Metro Region.
Holler earned her first career All-Metro Region honor in the heptathlon. She made history for the Red Hawks by becoming the program's first-ever medalist in the event at the NJAC Championships, where she took home the bronze. Her season-best performance came on
May 14 at the AARTFC Championships in Williamstown, Massachusetts, where she compiled 3,586 points—ranking fifth in the region.
Montclair State wrapped up its outdoor season last week at the AARTFC Championships. The Red Hawks posted their best team performance at the NJAC Championships since 2012, scoring 84 points and earning six All-NJAC team event placements.
