Montclair, NJ- The Montclair State University Women's Outdoor Track & Field team will compete on Wednesday and Thursday at the AARTFC Championships.

Women's Track & Field competed last in the Ramapo Twilight Last Chance meet this past Friday.
JULIA ACEVEDO led the way for the Red Hawks with a victory in the Triple Jump with a mark of 10.45m.
KENDALL HALL took first place in the 100m Hurdles with a personal best time of 15.65, and
LILIANA SNYDER won the 5000m, clocking in at 19:35.14. Montclair had eight participants in the 800m, with
ABIGAIL CHURCHILL (2:25.34),
TORI SUTERA (2:27.92), and
BRIANNA RODDY (2:33.28) notching top-five finishes.
DENISSE AGUILAR placed third in the 1500m at 5:11.93, with
JULIE MURPHY (5:17.41) and
MARY PICHETTE (5:34.78) finishing fourth and eighth, respectively, in the event.
ODALYS GUERRERO-DOMINQUEZ clocked in at 1:02.25 for a third-place finish in the 400m, with the 4x400m Relay team of
ASHTON WISELEY,
KAYLA MCADAMS, Murphy, and Roddy placing second at 4:37.92.
The Red Hawks will see a total of 10 entries at this year's Regional Championship meet, seeing entries in the 100-meter dash, 1500-meter run, 5000-meter run, 100-meter hurdles, 400-meter hurdles, 4x100 relay, 4x400 relay, 4x800 relay, triple jump, and heptathlon.
Competing for the Red Hawks in the 100-meter dash is
MCKAY ALBY. Alby is coming off a NJAC Championship win in the event when she broke her own school record with a run of 12.23 in the preliminary round and then outraced the field for her first outdoor-championship win in her freshman year. She enters the field with the ninth-best time. Leading the pack in the event is SUNY Delhi's Shaesha Johnson, who clocked an 11.67 in their conference championships.
In the 1500-meter run will be
TORI SUTERA, who clocked her season-best time last week at the NJAC Championships with a time of 4:46.19. Sutera enters the field with the 21st-best time in the event. Lydia Bennett from Grove City enters as the favorite with a season-best time of 4:27.84.
ABIGAIL CHURCHILL will represent Montclair State University in the 5000-meter run. Her season-best run clocked in at 18:14.84, which came at the Muhlenberg Invite on April 5. She enters with the 10th-best time in the event. Alleghany's Chloe Bonson holds the best time of the group in 2025 with a 16:43.76.
In the 100-meter hurdles,
KENDALL HALL secured her spot in the regional championship for Montclair with a 15.65 time this year that was earned last week at the NJAC Championships. Hall hosts the 23rd-best time in the event, with Ithaca's Rachel Larson entering as the projected favorite with a seed time of 13.98.
JULIA ACEVEDO earned herself a qualification in two events in Williamstown, Mass. She will compete in both the 400-meter hurdles and the triple jump. Acevedo's 1:06.71 400-meter hurdles time was collected at the NJAC Championships and is the 23
rd-best time among entrants. Mackenzie Burke from TCNJ holds the event's best time at 1:02.06. In the triple jump, Acevedo jumped a 11.36m mark that earned her a silver medal at the NJAC Championships. Her mark is the sixth-best among the field, with Springfield's Samantha Paul being the favorite with a mark of 12.06m.
The 4x100 relay for the Red Hawks will consist of
MICHELLE ITOUA,
AISHA GARCIA,
MAILE O'NEILL, and
MCKAY ALBY. The foursome clocked a season-best time of 48.56 at the Coach Pollard Invite on April 18. They also earned a silver-medal finish at last week's NJAC Championship with a time of 49.14. They enter as the sixth-best relay team with SUNY Delhi's Zoe Radi, Shaesha Johnson, Belvia Konodji, and Miranda Cole at the top with a relay time of 47.05.
The 4x400 relay will be represented by
NYLA HANNAH,
JULIA ACEVEDO,
KAELYN RODRIGUEZ, and
ODALYS GUERRERO-DOMINQUEZ. The quartet earned its season-best time last week at the NJAC Championships, where they put together a time of 4:06.26. They enter the event as the 15th-best team. Leading the way in the 4x400 relay is Rochester's Eva Ciuffetelli, Nora Chen, Raquella Casserino, and Megan Bell who clocked a 3:43.84 this year.
Representing the Red Hawks in the 4x800 relay will be
TORI SUTERA,
ODALYS GUERRERO-DOMINQUEZ, Lilianna Snyder, and
ABIGAIL CHURCHILL. The team put together a season-best time of 9:58.95 at the Ramapo T&F Invitational on March 28. They enter the event with the 16
th-best time with Rochester's Rita Sciortino, Emily Dill, Megan Bell, and Maria Khalifeh leading the pack with a time of 9:03.90.
Rounding off the pack is
JESSICA HOLLER, who will compete in the Heptathlon. She earned a season-best point total of 3560 this past week at the NJAC Championships which was also good for a bronze-medal finish. She enters the field with the 13
th-best point total. The favorite in the event is Hannah Alderfer from Susquehanna, who has the highest point total at 4619.
Montclair State University will compete on day two on Thursday, May 15 with the meet starting at 10:00am.
