Women's Track & Field Wins Three Events at Ramapo Last Chance Twilight

Mahwah, NJ – The Montclair State University women's track and field team won three events as it competed at the Ramapo Last Chance Twilight on Friday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED

JULIA ACEVEDO led the way for the Red Hawks with a victory in the Triple Jump with a mark of 10.45m. KENDALL HALL took first place in the 100m Hurdles with a personal best time of 15.65, and LILIANA SNYDER won the 5000m, clocking in at 19:35.14.
Montclair had eight participants in the 800m, with ABIGAIL CHURCHILL (2:25.34), TORI SUTERA (2:27.92), and BRIANNA RODDY (2:33.28) notching top five finishes. DENISSE AGUILAR placed third in the 1500m at 5:11.93, with JULIE MURPHY (5:17.41) and MARY PICHETTE (5:34.78) finishing fourth and eighth respectively in the event.
ODALYS GUERRERO-DOMINQUEZ clocked in at 1:02.25 for a third place finish in the 400m, with the 4x400m Relay team of ASHTON WISELEY, KAYLA MCADAMS, Murphy, and Roddy placing second at 4:37.92.

INSIDE THE RESULTS

JESSICA HOLLER recorded a new personal best in the Long Jump, finishing second with a mark of 4.87m.
Churchill's time in the 800m marked a new career record, with Roddy notching a season best in the event.
