ABIGAIL CHURCHILL each notched All-NJAC honors in week three of the weekly awards.

Bell was named Defensive Player of the Week, while Churchill was named Runner of the Week.

Bell had a stellar week between the pipes for Montclair. She earned two wins and allowed only one goal in three contests. She played just over 70 minutes in a 5-1 win against Penn State-Berks, where she notched a save and did not allow a goal. In a 1-1 tie against SUNY New Paltz, she registered a season high of four saves. In a 4-0 win at Manhattanville, Bell earned her second shutout of the season and saved two shots.

Churchill secured first place in back-to-back weeks down at TCNJ, this time at the Herb Lorenz Invite on Friday. The senior outraced the competition in the 5K with a time of 19:09.6 and led the way for Montclair to win as a team with a score of 29 points.

Bell earned her third NJAC Weekly Award and her first Defensive Player of the Week after getting recognized as Rookie of the Week twice last season. Bell joins
ISABELL KRONOW as the weekly award winners for women's soccer this season.

Churchill earned her first Runner of the Week award in her career and the first for Montclair cross country since 2021.

Women's soccer is back in action when they host Stevens on Thursday, September 18 at 7:00 p.m. Cross Country will travel to Stockton on Saturday, September 20, for the Osprey Open at 11:15 a.m.
