Montclair, NJ – Montclair State University men's indoor track and field is geared up as they enter day one of the NJAC Championships on Saturday afternoon.

LAST TIME OUT
Montclair competed in its final regular-season meet, the NYU DIII Invitational, this past Saturday. JALEN BALBUENA claimed the long jump with a mark of 7.08m, which places him third in program history in the event. His mark is the new 22nd-best mark across Division III for the 2025-26 campaign. Right behind him was SHELDON AGYEMANG, whose mark of 6.94m finished second for the day and ranks eighth in program history. ELIAS HANLEY's 6.80m placed fourth in the event and ninth in program history. All three long jump performances marked new career-bests for the Red Hawks. In the sprints, JAHMIR BEAL finished third in the 60m with a time of 6.95 seconds and JAYSON ELLIS placed fifth at 6.99 seconds. Beal recorded a 10th-place finish in the 200m, clocking in at 22.68 seconds.
