New York, NY – The Montclair State University men's track & field team opened up AARTFC Regionals on Friday afternoon at the NYC Armory.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Red Hawks were led by JALEN BALBUENA, who placed second in the long jump with  a mark of 7.15m. ELIAS HANLEY notched a mark of 6.92m to round out the top ten, with SHELDON AGYEMANG placing 16th at 6.75m.
• JAHMIR BEAL qualified for the finals of the 60m with a time of 6.91 seconds, ranking seventh among the field. 

INSIDE THE RESULTS

• Rounding out the group was JAYSON ELLIS, who tallied a time of 6.96 seconds in the 60m prelims, ranking seventh in the group.

The Red Hawks will return to the NYC Armory for day two of AARTFC Championships on Saturday, March 7, with the meet scheduled to begin at 10:00 AM.
