Philadelphia, PA – Headlined by a school record in the 4x100 relay, the Montclair State University Women's Track & Field team saw three entries compete at the Penn Relays on Friday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• The Red Hawks were led by the group of AISHA GARCIA, MAILE O'NEILL, KAELYN RODRIGUEZ, and MCKAY ALBY, who clocked a time of 47.74 seconds in the 4x100 relay to win their heat. The group finished fifth overall in the event, ranking ahead of a pair of Division I schools.
• In the field events, MICEL MARTINEZ notched a mark of 1.55m in the high jump, placing 34th among the field.
• Rounding out the evening events was the 4x400 relay team of Rodriguez, ODALYS GUERRERO-DOMINGUEZ, ALEXA ALI, and A'SYA BROWN, who registered a time of 4:11.35 to rank seventh in the event.

• Montclair's 4x100 relay group set a new school record, surpassing the previous best of 48.07 seconds, set during the 2012 season.
