Policastro wrapped up her freshman cmapaign with another outstanding week as she helped Montclair State to a berth in the NJAC Tournament Semifinals. Policastro was named NJAC Rookie of the Week for the third time as she made 10 saves and allowed just one goal in 200 minutes of action in two games. She opened the week with four saves during the first 110 minutes of regulation and overtime and then stopped two more in penalty kicks as Montclair State advanced in the tournament following a scoreless draw with William Paterson. The next evening, she made six saves as the Red Hawks’ season came to an end with a 1-0 loss to TCNJ. A Second-Team All-NJAC selection this season, Policastro currently leads the NJAC in save percentage (.836).
