Matlock averaged 3.58 kills per set and added 24 digs, nine blocks and nine service aces helping the Red Hawks to a 3-2 week, including its first NJAC victory of the year. She had eight kills, three digs and two blocks as Montclair (14-5) posted its first win over Rowan since 2009 with a 3-0 victory. She was then named to the All-Tournament Team at the Lycoming Tip-Off after recording 57 kills in four matches as MSU went 2-2. Matlock had 16 each on the first day in addition to four service aces, 10 digs and four total blocks as the Red Hawks split with Lycoming (3-1 loss) and Penn College (3-0 win). Matlock, who accounted for 81 points for MSU during the week, had 12 kills and eight digs in a 3-1 loss to St. Mary's (MD) on Saturday before netting 15 kill along with three digs in a come-from-behind, five-set win over Misericordia. Matlock, a First-Team All-NJAC selection a year ago, is currently ranked sixth in the conference in kills per set (2.81) and seventh in points scored (3.34 per set) while ranking 16th in hitting efficiency.
