Singewald had a pair of second-place finishes helping MSU extend its winning streak to four with a 120-75 win over Mt. St. Mary. He swam 1:52.71 in the 200 freestyle and was part of the 200 medley relay team that recorded a time of 1:41.21. The next day he won three individual events in MSU's conference meet with Rowan. Singewald swept the backstroke events winning the 100 in a time of 54.72 seconds and the 200 in 1:58.12. He then earned his triple-winner status with a victory in the 200 individual medley posting a time of 2:01.91.
