Rizzo was named the NJAC Track Athlete of the Week as he claimed one individual and one relay title at last week's conference championship meet. The senior broke his own school record and set a conference meet mark in the 500-meter race as he clocked in at 1:06.09. He previously set the NJAC Conference Championship meet record last season, when he finished in 1:06.22. Rizzo also ran the anchor leg on the 4X200 relay squad, as the foursome turned in a time of 1:31.68, claiming the event title for the fourth time in program history and first since 2015.

The Landing, NJ native also ran the final leg of the distance medley relay that placed fourth overall with MATTHEW CARMICHAEL, PATRICK TUOHEY, NICK ZIPETO, and Rizzo combining on a time of 11:01.75. Tuohey, Rizzo, Carmichael, and Zipeto also teamed together for third in the 4x800 relay with a time of 8:19.16.
