Montclair, NJ - Freshman defender OSBIN MENDEZ was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Men's Soccer Rookie of the Week.

Mendez recorded an assist as Montclair State advanced to the NJAC Championship Game for a third consecutive season with a 3-1 victory over Rutgers-Camden on Saturday. Mendez collected his second helper of the season, assisting on the Red Hawks' first goal of the game in the 11th miunte.
