Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State men's basketball team visits Ramapo College for a New Jersey Athletic Conference matchup Wednesday evening.

Montclair State (9-6, 6-5 NJAC) tallied a 71-53 win over TCNJ Saturday. The Red Hawks outscored the Lions 35-23 over the final 20 minutes and led in the second half by as many as 29. Rookie MIKE JACKSON sparked the Red Hawks with 18 points and five three-pointers off the bench while KEYON PRYCE added 11. DEVIN COOPER (9 points, 8 assists) and IRVING CALLENDER IV (9 points, 9 rebounds) narrowly missed double-doubles in the win.

SCOUTING THE ROADRUNNERS
The Roadrunners (4-11, 3-8 NJAC) have alternated wins and losses over their last five games, topping Rutgers-Camden and William Paterson but falling to NJCU, Rowan, and Stockton. They received 13 points from Marquise Kindel and Mansfield Warren against Stockton but lost 71-59.
 
LAST MEETING
Montclair rode a hot second half en route to a 94-76 victory over Ramapo on December 1, 2021. In the second stanza, they held a 42-28 edge in points as KEYON PRYCE and IRVING CALLENDER IV scored 23 points. STEVEN BREEMAN chipped in 17 points, eight rebounds, and five assists as DEVIN COOPER went a perfect 4-for-4 from the floor.
 
SERIES HISTORY
The Red Hawks are 50-45 all-time against Ramapo and are riding a three-game winning streak against their North Jersey foes. Montclair State snapped a seven-game skid in 2018 with a 74-60 win over the Roadrunners in the Panzer Athletic Center.
