Baseball: Game Day Preview vs. Eastern

Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State baseball team will host Eastern University tomorrow afternoon.

GAME INFO
The first pitch at Yogi Berra Stadium is scheduled for 3 pm, with live stats and video links available on montclairathletics.com. Video can also be found on the Red Hawks Sports Network YouTube Channel.

LAST TIME OUT
Yesterday, the Red Hawks (10-4) split a twin-bill with Trinity (Conn.). They dropped the opener 3-1 despite a solo homer from JORDEN JURKIEWICZ. In the first game, JOE NORTON collected three hits as PATRICK CUCCURULLO and JUSTIN SILVA combined for 10 strikeouts. In game two, the Red Hawks notched an 8-6 victory behind three RBIs from ANDREW OLLWERTHER. MATT PONTARI earned his first collegiate win with six strikeouts in five scoreless innings.

MR. 200
JOE NORTON became the 13th student-athlete in program history to notch 200 career hits with his second hit in the opener on Monday. He became the first Red Hawk to record his 200th hit since Kevin Bond in 2012.
