LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (6-3) dropped a doubleheader to in-state rival Stevens Saturday afternoon. They fell 12-6 in the first game despite getting three hits from PETER COSENTINO and JORDEN JURKIEWICZ. The team also dropped a 7-3 decision, with Cosentino drawing three walks.

SCOUTING THE BEARS
The Bears come into the game with a 1-2 record, splitting a doubleheader with Hilbert before dropping a 7-0 matchup in Manhattanville Sunday. In the win over Hilbert, all but one starter had a hit while six starters had multiple hits. David Kerns got the win as he fanned seven over six innings.
 
SERIES HISTORY
The Red Hawks are 3-2 all-time against Bridgewater State, but the two sides haven't met since 2000. They played three times in the 1997 NCAA Division III Mid-Atlantic Regional, with Bridgewater State winning two of the three games. Montclair State won the next two meetings, including the regular-season finale during the 2000 season where MSU won the National Championship.
 
LAST MEETING
In a 13-6 win on May 7, 2000, the Red Hawks scored 10 runs over the final five innings to claim a victory. George Gallagher gave the Red Hawks a lead they would give up as he delivered a bases-clearing double in the sixth inning. Steve Trongone earned the win with two innings of relief as Brian Ellerson notched his fourth save of the year.
