Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State baseball team faces off against Ramapo College in the NJAC Tournament Monday.

The first pitch in Union, NJ, is scheduled for noon, with live stats and video available on montclairathletics.com. The winner of this matchup faces off against William Paterson at 7 pm.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (31-10), seeded second, fell to No. 3 seed William Paterson 20-9 Sunday evening. In the setback, JOE NORTON had three hits and three RBI, as the Pioneers scored six in the first and seven in the third to break the game open.

SCOUTING THE ROADRUNNERS
The Roadrunners are 16-23-1 on the season and finished 6-12 in the NJAC. They knocked off top-seeded Rowan last Tuesday by a score of 16-13, with Brian Baranok and Joe Wisniewski collecting four RBI. They fell to Kean 5-4 Sunday despite 8 1/3 innings from starter Nick Danbrowney.
  
SERIES HISTORY
 Montclair State holds an 81-35-1 record against the Roadrunners, including a 15-game winning streak from April 26, 1991 – April 24, 1998. Ramapo's best stretch came when they won five straight from May 8, 2016 – April 27, 2018.

LAST MEETING
The Red Hawks swept Ramapo in a twinbill on April 10. They won 14-5 in the opener behind three RBI from ANTHONY GUARINO before notching a 5-4 in the nightcap. ANDREW OLLWERTHER homered in the fifth to bring the game level at three before JASON MOORE hit a walk-off single in the bottom of the ninth.
