The Red Hawks (23-9, 10-6 NJAC) erased an 8-0 deficit to knock off Kean University 12-9 Friday. SAM ANGELO snapped a 9-9 tie in the seventh with a three-run home run to right field. MATT PONTARI escaped a bases-loaded, two-out jam in the ninth to earn the save.

SERIES HISTORY
Montclair is 66-15 against Rutgers-Camden, including four consecutive victories. Camden's last triumph in Montclair came on April 21, 2018, when they notched a 7-5 win.
 
LAST MEETING 
The Red Hawks swept a twin bill against the Scarlet Raptors on April 30, 2022. Montclair won 13-7 in game one, putting up seven runs in the top of the fourth, with ANTHONY GUARINO knocking in three runs. They added an 8-4 win in game two behind solo homers from PETER COSENTINO and JORDEN JURKIEWICZ.
