Montclair, NJ – The No. 3 Montclair State University men's basketball team travels to face No. 2 Stockton on Wednesday night in the 2024 NJAC Men's Basketball Tournament Semifinals.

TICKET PRICES
Per the New Jersey Athletic Conference, ticket prices for all postseason events are $10 for adults and $5 for students (with ID)/senior citizens/children. 

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (18-8) took down No. 6 Kean 90-79 on Saturday, February 17 at the Panzer Athletic Center. Montclair jumped out to an early 19-4 advantage, but the Cougars answered back to go into the break with the score level at 36. After Kean took the lead early in the second half, Montclair regained the advantage with 13 minutes remaining. They hit seven-straight shots and built the lead up to double-digits with under four minutes on the clock and did not relinquish it the rest of the way. KUNGA TSERING scored a team-best 21 points, with KEYON PRYCE adding 18.

SCOUTING STOCKTON
The Ospreys hold the No. 2 seed in the NJAC Men's Basketball Tournament after narrowly missing out on the top seed on the final night of the regular season. They enter Wednesday's contest with a record of 16-9, and posted a 12-6 mark in conference play this season. They had won three out of their last four games prior to their regular season finale, when they fell to Kean 72-56. DJ Campbell led Stockton with 16 points in the contest.

SERIES HISTORY
Stockton leads the all-time series 59-30 against Montclair, and has claimed the last 10 meetings. The Ospreys have won 19 of the last 21 games against the Red Hawks dating back to the 2013-14 season. Montclair's last victory in Galloway came on February 9, 2019, as they took down Stockton 84-81.

LAST MEETING
Montclair fell to Stockton 91-81 on Saturday, February 3. After the Red Hawks went into the break up one, the Ospreys scored 10 of the first 15 points of the second half to take the lead. With the score level at 51, both sides battled for the advantage, as Montclair went ahead with 11:33 remaining. Stockton reclaimed the lead less than a minute later, and used a 31-19 scoring run over the final 11 minutes to seal the victory. AHMAD ROBERTSON led the Red Hawks with a career-high 20 points.

POSTSEASON HISTORY
The Red Hawks are making their 24th appearance in the NJAC Tournament, posting a 18-19 record. Montclair and Stockton have met six times in the NJAC Tournament with each team claiming three games. The Ospreys took down the Red Hawks 91-86 in the NJAC Semifinals last winter.

The winner of this contest will face off against the winner of No. 1 Rowan and No. 5 TCNJ in the NJAC Championship Game on Saturday, February 24 at the site of the highest remaining seed.
