Montclair concluded its three-game slate at Ripken Experience as it took down McDaniel College 10-6 on Sunday, February 25. The Red Hawks tallied three runs in the first inning, as MILES FEASTER brought in two on an RBI double, and ZACH STEARNS drove in the third on a single. The Green Terror tied the game a few innings later, but Montclair quickly regained the lead on a sacrifice fly from MICHAEL MURPHY. They tacked on two more runs to make the score 6-3 after four. With the score 7-4 in the bottom of the eighth, MARCUS JOHNSON hit a three-run home run to double the advantage. The Red Hawks held off a late rally for Head Coach Dave Lorber's 100th career win.

SCOUTING ST. JOSEPH'S-LONG ISLAND
The Golden Eagles were picked to three-peat in the 2024 Skyline Conference Preseason Coaches Poll, as they received nine first place votes. St. Joseph's-Long Island graduated six everyday starters from their 2023 squad that went 30-11 and qualified for the NCAA Tournament. They fell 9-2 to Cortland in their regional opener, and were edged by Eastern Connecticut State 5-4 the following night. Their 2023 campaign featured multiple 10-plus game winning streaks, with four Golden Eagles being named to All-Region teams. They fell to Kean 8-5 in their 2024 season opener on Saturday, February 10.
