Montclair, NJ – The Montclair State University men's basketball travels to take on Stockton on Saturday afternoon.

LAST TIME OUT
The Red Hawks (15-6, 10-4 NJAC) took down William Paterson 90-75 to secure their sixth-straight victory. Montclair doubled up the Pioneers early, putting up 10 of the first 15 markers. William Paterson came within one but Montclair responded with a 11-2 run to go back up double-digits. After the Pioneers closed to within five in the second half, the Red Hawks used an 18-6 run to take control of the contest. MIKE JACKSON led Montclair with 22 points, with KYREE HENRY adding 18 points off the bench. The victory marked the sixth 10-win NJAC season for Montclair over its last eight and third-straight.

SCOUTING STOCKTON
The Ospreys enter Saturday's clash with a record of 13-8 and a 9-5 mark in NJAC play. Stockton opened their conference slate by winning eight of their first 10, but have lost three out of four since. They fell in their last contest to Rutgers-Newark, 66-64, on Wednesday, January 31. EJ Matthews-Spratley led the Ospreys with 23 points and seven rebounds. Stockton has won three of its last four at home. 

SERIES HISTORY
Stockton leads the all-time series 58-30 against Montclair, and has claimed the last nine meetings. The Ospreys have won 18 of the last 20 games against the Red Hawks dating back to the 2013-14 season. Montclair's last victory in Galloway came on February 9, 2019, as they took down Stockton 84-81. The two sides met in the 2022-23 NJAC Tournament Semifinals, with the Ospreys coming out with a 91-86 victory.

LAST MEETING
Montclair fell to Stockton 95-81 on January 6 at the Panzer Athletic Center. After leading by four at the half, the Ospreys jumped out to a nine-point advantage 90 seconds into the second half. Montclair cut the lead back to four before Stockton rattled off a quick 8-0 run to take a 12-point lead which they did not relinquish. QUANTAVIOUS ROGERS led the Red Hawks with a season-high 16 points in 11 minutes off the bench.
