Philadelphia, Pa. - The Montclair State University Women's Indoor Track and Field team saw its throwers CHLOE BRIJBAG and MAYA YESALONIS lead the way on the first day of the Schuylkill Showcase on Saturday.  
 
HOW IT HAPPENED

• Brijbag led the way in the shot put, where she earned a fifth-place finish and a personal-best mark of 11.11m (36' 5.5").
• JAELANI HERNANDEZ finished 14^th with a distance of 10.22m (33' 6.5"). Yesalonis finished right behind in 15^th at 10.21m (33' 5.5").
• NATALIA FELIZ notched a 9.70m (31' 10") for a 23^rd-place finish, while JULISSA OTTO placed 32^nd with a throw of 8.56m (28' 1").
• In the weight throw, Yesalonis led the way with a fifth-place finish of 14.51m (47' 7.25").
• KAITLYN CHIRKIS finished 28^th with a distance of 9.76m (32' 0.25"). She was followed by Brijbag in 37^th with a throw of 8.90m (29' 2.5"), Feliz in 38^th with a mark of 8.80m (28' 10.5"), and Otto with a distance of 8.10m (26' 7").
