Pitman, NJ- The Montclair State University baseball team is predicted to finish fourth in 2026 as the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) office released its Preseason Poll for this season on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Below are the projected standings based on the poll (parentheses indicate the number of first-place votes):

In 2025, Montclair finished fourth with a conference record of 10-7-1 and an overall record of 24-16-1.
 
Baseball opens up the season with a three-game stint against UMass Dartmouth, starting on Friday, February 20. First pitch is set for 3:00 p.m.
