Montclair, NJ - The Montclair State University Baseball team earned a bid to the 2026 NCAA Division III Tournament, marking its first appearance in the competition since 2022.

Announced on Monday afternoon, the Red Hawks will serve as one of the 16 host sides for the Regional Round of the competition. The four-team, double-elimination tournament will take place Friday, May 15 through Sunday, May 17 at Yogi Berra Stadium.

Montclair (30-9) earned an at-large bid out of the New Jersey Athletic Conference and will take on the winners of the Northwest Conference, Whitworth (28-14). The other opening contest will pit Conference of New England Champion Endicott (35-9) against Husson (24-16), the winners of the North Atlantic Conference.

The Red Hawks will host a NCAA Regional for the first time since 2000, marking the 29th overall appearance in the tournament in program history. Montclair boasts a 107-57 all-time record in the NCAA Tournament, making the Division III World Series 13 times with three National Championships.
