Smith, who is selected for the second time this year, helped the Red Hawk men’s swimming and diving team close out its dual meet schedule with a 159-140 victory at local and NJAC rival William Paterson on Saturday. Smith won three individual events and also anchored a relay team to a first-place showing. Smith won the 200 freestyle (1:51.44) and then led a 1-2 MSU finish in the 100 freestyle clocking in at 49.57. He got his third individual win in the 500 freestyle with a time of 5:10.11 before capping off his day anchoring the 400 freestyle relay team that won the event with a time of 3:25.32.
