A standout player from 1968-71, Harry James tallied over 1,000 points which sparked MSC to a 65-12 record and a trio of NCAA Tournament bids. James was twice selected team MVP, corralled a Kiwanis Tournament MVP Award, and captained the squad in his senior year. In 1968-69, he was named an NCAA Regional All-Star and the following season was tapped as on e of the “Outstanding Athletes of America.” James won starting berth on four All-Star teams in 1970-71 including the ECAC, the All-Metropolitan and the New Jersey College Conference and the New Jersey Basketball Writers’ Association.  Following his graduation, James was drafted by the NBA’s Baltimore Bullets and the ABA’s Pittsburgh Condors. He competed on the professional level from 1972-74 in the Eastern Basketball League.
