Montclair State University Athletics

Kerry Davis earned six varsity letters – three each in basketball and baseball. He captained the 1957-58 varsity basketball team. After finishing his eligibility he became an assistant varsity basketball coach under Hank Schmidt. During his three years of varsity baseball he batted .292 and was captain of the 1957-58 team. Davis received the Charles Turek Award in 1958 and the Sandy MacMillan Award for 1958-59 Outstanding Scholar/Athlete.
