Megan Bosland was a stalwart in goal for the Red Hawks field hockey team, posting an impressive 67-17 mark with 296 saves and a 1.38 goals-against average in 84 contests. During her first year in 2009, she backstopped the Red Hawks to an ECAC Championship, making 10 saves over three games while earning NJAC Rookie of the Year honors. After making 82 saves in 2010, she was an Honorable Mention All-NJAC and named to the NFHCA South Atlantic Region Second Team. Bosland was ranked 21st nationally with a 1.25 goals-against average and posted a 19-3 mark.
 
The 2012 season was a banner year for the Red Hawks and Bosland, as she went 22-2 and was a part of 12 shutouts. She cut her goals against in half and was third nationally with a .68 average while also posting the country's fourth-best save percentage (85.3%). The Red Hawks notched four straight shutouts spanning the NJAC Championship Game through the Third Round of the NCAA Tournament, with Bosland making 12 saves to lead Montclair to the NCAA Championship Game. Although the team came up short, the goalkeeper made four saves in the 2-1 setback to Tufts.
 
She capped off her career by earning NJAC Goalkeeper of the Year and NFHCA South Atlantic Region Player of the Year laurels while gaining First Team All-American honors. Bosland currently holds the Montclair field hockey career records for goals against average (1.07) and wins (67), second in shutouts (22), and fifth in saves (296). On the single-season leaderboard, Bosland is tops in goals against (.68 – 2012), wins (22 – 2012), and shutouts (12 – 2012) while appearing third (19 – 2011) and eighth (15 – 2009) in wins.
